Better known to my friends and I as One (it just changed ownership at the end of last year).
It is a club in the Meatpacking district in NYC and is definitely on our list of to dos. Good food, drinks, and most importantly dancing. Hopefully it will be a few more people there than in the picture above:)
We go here every year we take this trip and it never disappoints.
I am keeping my fingers crossed it is just as fun this time.
Along with Purl, Popbar is also on my things to check out in NYC. I saw this on a blog awhile back and bookmarked it for the next time I was in New York. Might seem weird that I will go out of my way to check out a place that makes popsicles but these aren't your normal kind of popsicles. You can customize these any which way you like. I will report back once I return.
Stoph tackled refinishing our deck this weekend. He has been waiting to do this for 5 weeks now but the weather hasn't been playing nice. Saturday was his chance. It was gorgeous out so after his morning round of golf, he rented the huge sander and went to it. Above is the before shot. Below is the after.
Our neighbours decided to enjoy the fab weather and through a dinner party which cut Stoph's sanding short. Also, Sundays weather wasn't cooperating like Saturdays which means this task will spill into next weekend as well.
Great start so far. Have I mentioned how much I love that my boyfriend is handy around the house and loves to do things like sand the deck for hours on end? I scored myself a good one.
