This about sums it up.
Work has been crazy as usual but add in a new set of twins to the family, one week in Chicago, plus a girls weekend, and you have one busy gal. May is flying by!
And it isn't letting up. This coming week I am in NYC and then off to Florida for the weekend for some downtime with Stoph. Can't wait!

The best invention since sliced bread in my opinion.
Here is what my week looked like.
It consisted of walks with the dogs, daily Starbucks stops, drinks with the girls, finding out Martha Stewart designed an organization line for Staples (brilliant), staff bowling party, and a coffee date with my man.
I treated myself to a few of Martha's organization tools and spent a few hours this weekend writing lists, organization myself, and I feel very ready for the week to come.
Now only if I had made it to hot yoga we could give me extra bonus points:)
I know I was supposed to post the food items that we purchased at One Of A Kind but there were just too many of them, and we ate them before I could take photos:) Next year. So, I will show you what we made for dinner instead!
This is only my second time of making prime rib but it turned out pretty good. My fav part of the dinner was the veggies that cook in the juice of the meat. Too die for.
We finished it off with some berries.
The ice cream and chocolate sauce didn't make the photos:)

April is officially Daffodil month and seeing as the daffodil is the official flower of the Canadian Cancer Society, they are spreading the word.
Every 3 minutes, cancer picks a fight with another Canadian. Purchase a daffodil bunch or wear your daffodil pin and let them know they're not alone.
I am wearing my pin proudly for my grandma, aunt, mom, and granny.
Did not disappoint! My mom and I shopped the aisles and filled our belly's. Below is what I bought:

My mom arrived on Thursday for a weekend visit, and she never arrives empty handed.
The treats were not for me this time. Easter cookies for Frank and Pheobe. I guess when you don't have grandkids to spoil, dogs are the next best thing:)
